DISCO User Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Your Account

• Age: You must be at least the age of majority in your province (19 in British Columbia) to create an account, particularly if redeeming rewards involves age-restricted venues or items (like alcohol).
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• One Account: You may only register one active account. Creating multiple accounts to "farm" points, stamps, or exploit deals is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination.

2. How DISCO Works (The Deals)

DISCO connects you with independent local businesses ("Merchants") offering deals, discounts, and rewards.

• We Are the Connector, Not the Provider: DISCO does not prepare food, pour drinks, or provide retail/wellness services. The Merchant is solely responsible for honoring the deal and providing the goods or services.
• Deal Availability: Deals are time-sensitive and subject to availability, capacity, and the Merchant's specific conditions listed in the app.
• Refusal of Service: Merchants reserve the right to refuse service or reject a deal if they suspect fraud, if you fail to meet age requirements, or if the venue has reached legal capacity.

3. Points, Stamps, and Loyalty Rewards

By using the Platform, you can earn global digital loyalty points called "Points" (or "Discs") as well as Merchant-specific "Stamps".

• Merchant Stamp Cards: Participating Merchants may choose to activate digital Stamp Cards on the Platform. You earn a "Stamp" by making a qualifying purchase at that specific Merchant, according to their rules.
• Merchant-Specific: Stamps are tied exclusively to the Merchant that issued them. They are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed at or combined with Stamps from other Merchants.
• No Cash Value: Points and Stamps are digital promotional tokens. They have no real-world cash value, cannot be withdrawn for fiat currency, and cannot be sold or transferred to other users.
• Redemption: Points and completed Stamp Cards can only be redeemed for specific rewards offered by Merchants through the Platform.
• Expiration and Modification: We reserve the right to expire Points/stamps if your account is inactive for twelve (12) consecutive months. We may also modify the earning rate or redemption value of Points at any time. Furthermore, Merchants reserve the right to modify, expire, or cancel their specific Stamp Card programs at any time. DISCO is not liable or responsible for unredeemed Stamps if a Merchant modifies their program, closes their business, or leaves the Platform.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Attempt to screenshot, forge, or digitally alter a "Claim" screen, Point balance, or Stamp Card to trick a Merchant.
• Harass, abuse, or treat Merchant staff poorly. (We strictly enforce a "Good Vibes Only" policy. If a Merchant reports you for abusive behavior, your DISCO account will be banned).
• Use the Platform for any illegal activities.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DISCO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or your interactions with our Merchant partners. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via an in-app notification or email.
